This was a fun and challenging project. In a recently built suburban subdivision, where many homes and their surroundings resemble each other, how do you quietly carve out some distinct personality? Luckily, the client was up for trying to find out... maybe that's because he's used to asking Good Questions.

Finally, we had a breakthrough. We noticed that when speaking about what we saw as the challenges in this neighborhood, we were using the same words that we use to describe things we like in other contexts. Words like repetition, similar geometry etc. We knew there had to be answer in that and we think we found it.

The clients love how it turned out as much as we do. We were kinda worried too as, days before we started the project, their home was struck by lightning. It turned out to be a good omen.
