One of our friends, Bruce Erickson, has extensively, beautifully and artfully remodeled a few select homes in Minneapolis; John and Tera's project is the first we've had the opportunity to work on. (The second is in process, but still in the early design phases. We can't wait to get to point where we can share more than - these - few - hints.)

For John and Tera, we wanted to build on the elegant gravity of their subtly modern facade and bring some light texture to the space. The client was also hoping to get a little more traditional yard space for their young and growing family to hang around on, since the back is heavily wooded. We love the way this project turned out... strong but quiet.
