Kindra is one of our favorite design people. She teaches at the great MCAD here in Minneapolis and many of her former students are now our favorite designers! Tim is her partner. He's a painter with an English accent and great taste in music. One of the upsides of having the summers off is that they have lots of time to garden. So much beautiful plant life! All we had to do is provide the backdrop. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them both. Initially, when faced with the opportunity to design for people with what we assumed was fairly expansive and progressive taste, we tried to come up with something fairly challenging. We ended up going with something that feels simple, clear and classic. A variation on the fence we call "the Agrarian" around the studio. We're as happy as the clients are with how it turned out!
